circle needles

What are they, and when should we use them? Simply put, they are needles connected by a cord. They can be used to knit in the round instead of double-pointed needles (which I love) or to knit big projects. This is how I was introduced to them. 

I can’t stand using them I find them to be the biggest pain in the butt the cord annoys me I find it annoyingly uncomfortable. And I always find that my stitches don’t stay even. That could be a ME problem. It most likely is a ME problem; I don’t use them enough. Do you guys like them? (let me know in the comments) 

They do help with big projects as I’ve broken or bent a lot of needles especially doing queen-sized blankets. So I don’t want to make it a goal but I do want to attempt working with circle needles more often and maybe at the end of the year I will see if I change my mind.
