So I’ve created my list of projects and deadlines which was a good idea. (Let me know if you want to see the list) I’m not entirely sure what took me so long to do this.

So, my first project of the year is to give my mum a set of doeks. She always loved getting them, yet we seem to never have enough. I guess when you live with seven other people, needing doeks is a regular thing. For those not in the weird Dutch word-mixing community that I was raised in, a doek is the Dutch word for rag or washcloth.

If you have seen my shop, you will know that I sell different colour doeks. Right now I only have the option for two different colours. Mainly because these are the colours I use the most. I have a colour coordination thing happening certain colours are used only for certain things.

For example, growing up we always had this yellow microfibre cloth that we would use every week to dust and in my mind always associated with cleaning. This was further concreted in my mind when I was cleaning up at the home I was babysitting at and they also had a yellow cloth for their cleaning uses. Yellow means cleaning always has always will. So in that spirit, all the yellow doek I have ever made are all used for cleaning I have only ever made one cause why would you need more than one for dusting?
